Here in Massachusetts we are experiencing the end of winter and the rising of spring. Winter is the Water season, when we are in a more contractive, inward (yinward), dreaming time. As the light and warmth increase, we are inspired to emerge and expand into our Wood selves. The seeds we have been gestating begin to germinate, and our dreams become visions. As we rise into this rebirth, it is helpful to remember to root first, into the fertile, deep earth. With our center grounded and connected to the center of the earth, we can bring our visions into full manifestations. Rooting and reaching, with a stable, flexible trunk, we become who we came here to be.
